Job Title: Radiation Therapist I

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist I to join our team at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina. As a Radiation Therapist I, you will be responsible for preparing, planning, and delivering accurate and precise ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients according to the prescription of a Radiation Oncologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and plan ionizing radiation treatments for cancer patients
  • Deliver precise and accurate radiation treatments according to the prescription of a Radiation Oncologist
  • Work closely with Radiation Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment plans
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families to provide exceptional care and support
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy
  • Certification for Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C
  • Licensed with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT)
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
