Retail Store Supervisor

Tastyeats Foods Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all sales and customer service goals are met. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that all sales floors are adequately staffed.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Order merchandise and ensure that all inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
- Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise with customers.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to ensure that the store is operating efficiently.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college or CEGEP diploma an asset.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a team of sales workers. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
LanguageThe primary language of work is English.
Hours of WorkThe Retail Store Supervisor will work 35 hours per week.
