About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our team at BAAZ Immigration Inc. as a Media Relations Officer. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in media relations, communications, and public relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote the company's brand and reputation.
  • Prepare and disseminate press releases, media advisories, and other written materials to the public and media outlets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including journalists, editors, and producers.
  • Coordinate and execute media events, such as press conferences, interviews, and photo opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain the company's social media presence, including creating and scheduling content.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to ensure the company's message is being effectively communicated.
  • Provide media training and coaching to employees to ensure they are prepared to handle media inquiries.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the company's communications strategy is effective and relevant.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in media relations, communications, or public relations.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms.
