About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Relations Specialist to join our team at BAAZ Immigration Inc. as a Media Relations Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote the organization's brand and reputation.
  • Prepare and disseminate press releases, media advisories, and other written materials to the public and media outlets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including journalists, editors, and producers.
  • Conduct media outreach and pitching to secure media coverage and interviews.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive media list and database.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement crisis communications plans.
  • Provide media training and coaching to employees and executives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in media relations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in media relations or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong media relations and pitching skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
