Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented User Support Technician to join our team at Schindler Consulting.

Job Summary:

The User Support Technician will provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and other technology-related issues. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong understanding of computer systems and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Provide advice and training to users on the use of computer systems, software, and other technology-related tools.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software to improve user experience and efficiency.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Strong understanding of computer systems and technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Time management and organizational skills
Work Environment:

The User Support Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The User Support Technician will work 30 hours per week.
