Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Big Dreamers Daycare.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support children's growth and well-being.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including equipment and facilities.
  • Encourage children's creativity through art, music, and physical activity.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to share children's progress and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team.
Requirements:
  • Completion of at least a two-year program in early childhood education.
  • ECE Certificate issued by British Columbia.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates.
  • Criminal Record Check.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role.
