We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Big Dreamers Daycare.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including cleaning and organizing the daycare space.
  • Engage children in activities that promote creativity, such as art, music, and physical activity.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
Requirements
  • Completion of at least a two-year program in early childhood education.
  • ECE Certificate issued by British Columbia.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal Record Check.
  • At least two years of experience in early childhood education.
