Role Overview
As the Director of Delivery, you will provide essential strategic leadership to a team of Project Managers, ensuring the successful execution of software video solution projects. Your role encompasses overseeing the entire project lifecycle, guaranteeing timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance. You will play a pivotal role in advancing the company's initiatives to deliver cutting-edge video solutions that enhance communication and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for the execution, management, and quality assurance of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Create detailed project and program estimates, plans, schedules, and controls, utilizing innovative thinking and technical expertise to align with program objectives.
  • Enhance PMO policies and procedures to enable teams to deliver high-quality solutions consistently through standardized processes.
  • Identify potential program risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.
  • Execute Change Management strategies in collaboration with Account Management and Sales Engineering teams to oversee the commercial aspects of projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal delivery teams.
  • Assess internal and external stakeholders to tailor communication and reporting strategies effectively.
  • Document and present critical program data, including Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Risk, and Change, to stakeholders.
  • Lead the resolution of escalated issues to ensure timely solutions.
  • Promote high levels of customer and vendor advocacy throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project governance, change management, financial control, and reporting to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering).
  • 7-10 years of project management experience in the software and technology sector.
  • Proven success in managing complex projects from start to finish.
  • Experience in leadership and team management roles.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Scrum).
  • Familiarity with software development best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of video technology and solutions is a plus.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Budget management and resource allocation expertise.
  • Risk management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to foster continuous improvement in project management processes.
Preferred Skills
  • PMP or other relevant certifications.
  • A Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in the video solutions industry.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies.
