Role Overview
As the Director of Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in steering a team of Project Managers towards the successful implementation of strategic software video solution projects. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant delivery of projects. You will guide the company's efforts to innovate and provide cutting-edge video solutions that enhance communication and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for the execution, management, and quality assurance of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Create detailed project and program estimates, plans, schedules, and controls, utilizing creative problem-solving and technical knowledge to align with program objectives.
  • Enhance PMO policies and procedures to support teams in delivering high-quality solutions consistently.
  • Identify potential program risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Execute Change Management strategies in collaboration with Account Management and Sales Engineering teams.
  • Act as the primary liaison for customers, vendors, and internal delivery teams.
  • Classify stakeholders and tailor communication strategies based on their influence and interests.
  • Provide transparent reporting on essential program metrics, including Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Risk, and Change.
  • Lead the resolution of escalated issues to ensure timely solutions.
  • Advocate for high levels of customer and vendor satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project governance, change management, financial oversight, and reporting to key stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering).
  • 7-10 years of project management experience in the software and technology sector.
  • Proven success in managing complex projects from start to finish.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Scrum).
  • Familiarity with software development best practices.
  • Strong understanding of video technology and solutions is a plus.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
  • Risk management and conflict resolution expertise.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement in project management processes.

Preferred Skills
  • PMP or other relevant certifications.
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in the video solutions sector is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies.
