Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee commercial management processes in business segments
  • Conduct regular reviews of ongoing projects, ensuring effective risk identification and mitigation
  • Provide leadership to Commercial Managers and Project Support Analysts, ensuring they can support project execution
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for commercial management excellence
  • Provide expertise in contractual interpretation and guidance to project teams
  • Participate in project reviews to ensure commercial aspects are properly handled
  • Monitor customer payments and take necessary actions
  • Prepare and deploy trainings on commercial topics
Administrative Tasks:
  • Determine Department annual Goals & Objectives
  • Prepare resource planning for the department
  • Perform employee performance evaluation
  • Manage HR topics, including recruitment, departures, salaries, and personal situations
  • Leadership, training, and development of employees
Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience in commercial management/PCO and contracts administration
  • Degree in Commerce, Administration, Engineering, or relevant qualification
  • Experience in hydroelectric or Construction industry, or related business
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Business law, including commercial and contracts principles
  • High level of capability with Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual French/English
