Civil/Geotechnical Engineer - Senior Level

Job Summary:

Barr Engineering Co. is seeking a highly skilled Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to join our team as a Senior Level professional. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, leading projects through their entire lifecycle, and providing technical direction and guidance to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and develop business development strategies
  • Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the company's presence in the market

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Mining Engineering or a closely related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project engineering and design, with a strong background in civil and geotechnical engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification in Saskatchewan or ability to obtain certification within one year
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project teams
  • Proven project management skills, with experience in leading projects from initiation to completion
  • Business development knowledge and skills, with experience in developing and implementing business development strategies
