About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor, Clinical Services Leader to join our team at The Pod Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the delivery of high-quality clinical care within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and training to therapists, group facilitators, and contracted staff to ensure exceptional clinical support services.
  • Contribute to Service Delivery: Contribute to the delivery of support services through team building, excellent customer service, continuous quality improvement, and risk management.
  • Expertise on High-Risk Cases: Provide expertise on high-risk cases, including risk assessment and crisis intervention, as requested by staff.
  • Client Intake Monitoring: Monitor client intakes into the program to ensure every client has been provided with a high level of clinical service from the team.
  • Training and Development: Determine the training and professional development needs of the team and develop/update program curriculum and tools for programs with team consultation.
  • Strategic Plan Implementation: Support the implementation of the program's strategic plans, direct and monitor clinical activities so that strategic goals and approved budgets are met.
  • Clinical Team Support: Ensure the clinical teams' understanding of all clinical and administrative procedures and determine where the policies, procedures, and protocols require updates or adjustments to ensure best practices are being adhered to.
  • Community Partnerships: Respect the agency to maintain and strengthen collaborative relationships with community partners on various projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Scheduling and Quality Monitoring: Facilitate and support scheduling, audits, performance management, and quality monitoring of services.
  • Clinical Competence: Maintain a high level of clinical competence, participate in professional/program development, clinical training opportunities, and staff training.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about CRPO, OCSWSSW, and other regulations and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a relevant field. A Master's degree is considered an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, with a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Clinical Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on clinical treatment experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and CPI certificate.
  • Registration: Registration with the OCSWSSW or the CRPO.
  • Not-for-Profit Experience: Supervisory experience in a Not-for-profit, unionized environment is a strong asset.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead by example, engage and mentor staff, and guide teams toward successful project completion and goal achievement with humility and efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic Planning: Strong strategic planning, team building, and facilitation skills.
  • Change Management: Change management experience is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility: Flexible hours as needed, rotating on-call schedule.
