Key Responsibilities- Provide information and support services directly to victims of crime, ensuring their rights and needs are met.
- Act as a liaison between victims and justice personnel, facilitating communication and coordination.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of victims, including court preparation sessions and accompaniment.
- Maintain accurate records and confidentiality of client information.
- Liaise with Crown, Police, Correctional Services, and community organizations to enhance services and support.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Social Sciences.
- Three years of related experience, including client services and case management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system, community resources, and victim-related legislation.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
