As a Medical Radiation Technologist I, you will have the opportunity to learn or enhance your CT skills.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiation Technologist I to join our team. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standard technical radiological imaging examinations on patients. Your duties will include interpreting physician requisitions, preparing and assessing patients for examination, and producing high-quality diagnostic images for Physician/Radiologist review.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general and portable radiography, mobile and surgical suite examinations, and fluoroscopy as required.
  • Assist with the care and maintenance of equipment.
  • Work independently and promote good teamwork.
  • Practice effective radiation protection, infection control, and safety techniques.
  • Be proficient in computer skills and adapt to many changes.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist program.
  • Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent mobile radiography experience.
  • CT experience or enrollment/completion of CT courses.
