Pet Retreat Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pet Retreat Manager to join our team at Diamond in the Ruff Pet Retreat. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our boarding kennel and dog training center.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and control daily operations, ensuring the highest level of animal care and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and resource allocation.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage contracts for advertising and marketing strategies, promoting our services to potential customers.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional animal care.
- Address customer complaints and concerns, providing prompt and effective solutions.
- May work in a team with shared supervisory responsibilities, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Supervise staff, ensuring they are meeting performance expectations and providing feedback for improvement.
- Perform general farm duties, including cleaning and disinfecting cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures.
- Perform administrative tasks, including managing budgets, inventory, and supplies.
- Oversee the development of communication strategies, ensuring effective communication with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Organize day-to-day business operations, ensuring the smooth running of our facilities.
- 5 years or more of experience in a similar role, preferably in a boarding kennel or dog training center.
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle, as public transportation is not available.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and physical stamina.
