About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pet Retreat Manager to join our team at Diamond in the Ruff Pet Retreat. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kennel and ensuring the highest level of care and service for our furry guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Direct and control daily operations of the kennel
    • Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements
    • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Staff Supervision
    • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and animal care
    • Establish and implement policies and procedures for staff
  • Animal Care and Welfare
    • Ensure the health and well-being of all animals in our care
    • Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures
  • Business Operations
    • Plan and control budget and inventory
    • Manage contracts for advertising and marketing strategies
    • Organize day-to-day business operations
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
