We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration/Scheduling Clerk to join our team at IWK Health. As a key member of our Children's Ambulatory Medical Care team, you will be responsible for timely patient registration and processing, providing general clerical support to team members, and scheduling of clinic appointments.
Key Responsibilities:- Register patients for MDATU clinic and professional staff appointments
- Greet and direct clients
- Accurately enter/revising patient information into CWS (Meditech)
- Complete various health forms as required
- Schedule Immunology Clinic appointments
- Provide general support to clients and staff
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate from a recognized office administration diploma program preferred
- Previous experience in registration and scheduling is strongly preferred
- Experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting an asset
- Knowledge of medical terminology an asset
