Technical Specialist, Cabinet Completion Integration

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with suppliers on projects related to completion furniture.
  • Lead the Engineering Control Change Board (ECCB) for technical approvals of RFC/RFQ/P&OIAS and PCR.
  • Define technical specifications and guide supplier strategies for new furniture.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams (Operations, Projects, Programs, Procurement, Technical, etc.) to negotiate interfaces with other systems and formalize agreements on Interface Control Drawings (ICD).
  • Facilitate technical meetings with suppliers, ensuring the delivery of engineering documentation that complies with Bombardier Standards.
  • Chair design reviews and master regulatory and industry requirements.
  • Verify that system components fulfill technical and certification standards.
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor, sharing knowledge within your broader team.

To qualify, you should possess a college or university degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or an equivalent qualification, along with over fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience with Challengers and Globals business aircraft interiors.
  • Proficient in Enovia/Catia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assembly, Part Body, Drafting, etc.).
  • Expertise in product structure and aircraft certification.
  • Highly organized and project-focused.
  • Strong communication skills, including proficient English writing and verbal skills in both English and French.
