Business Development Role

Sun Life Financial is seeking a Business Development Partner to join our team. As a Business Development Partner, you will be responsible for onboarding, developing, and coaching a team of Advisors to achieve financial and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Advisors through onboarding, training, and development programs.
  2. Work with Advisors to meet sales growth, productivity, and client engagement objectives.
  3. Ensure Advisors are appropriately trained, licensed, and registered to meet regulatory and Sun Life obligations.
  4. Escalate client complaints and conduct investigations.
  5. Ensure operational effectiveness aligns with business plans.
  6. Strong sales management and business development skills.
  7. Strong mentoring, coaching, and influencing skills.
  8. Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  9. Previous experience in an Advisor role or people leadership is an asset.
  10. Strong working knowledge of the regulatory environment.
  11. A valid Life Insurance Agent's license is required.
