Job Title: Senior Professional in Financial Markets

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Professional in Financial Markets to join our team at Banque Nationale. As a key member of our internal audit team, you will play a critical role in supporting our partners in end-to-end processes to drive business growth and improve client satisfaction.

Your Role

  • Ambassador for Internal Audit: You will serve as a trusted advisor to our financial markets, operations, market risk, and operational risk partners, providing expert guidance on risk management and internal controls.
  • Negotiator/Influencer: You will work closely with senior management to negotiate and influence key decisions related to risk and control issues.
  • Cross-Functional Expert: You will possess in-depth knowledge of financial markets and risk management processes, enabling you to provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partners.
  • Team Coach: You will lead and coach teams on end-to-end processes, governance, accountability, and best practices, ensuring that our internal audit team is equipped to deliver high-quality services.
  • Team Builder: You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal audit team members and other risk/control functions, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Your Team

You will be part of a dynamic and innovative team of 18 colleagues, reporting to the Senior Director. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and development, with the chance to work on varied and complex assignments. You will also have the opportunity to travel to our international offices and subsidiaries as needed for audits.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the financial markets sector.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of in-depth experience in end-to-end processes of financial markets, including Front Office, risk management teams (market risks/operational risks), and/or financial markets operations.
  • Designations: FRM/PRM or CFA designation.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of risks related to financial markets, ability to collaborate effectively with team members and partners, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
