We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Markets Advisor to enhance our Internal Audit division. This pivotal role involves collaborating with our business partners to pinpoint risks and enhance processes within the financial markets domain. You will oversee audits concerning Front Office operations, Market Risk, and Operational Risk.

  • Serve as the primary contact between Internal Audit and Financial Markets, Operations, and Risk Management
  • Advise senior leadership on audit results and actionable recommendations
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of comprehensive processes and risks in Financial Markets
  • Guide team members on industry best practices and governance standards
  • Align initiatives with other risk and control functions

About the Position:

As part of a dedicated team of 18 professionals, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Internal Audit for Financial Markets. This role offers a vibrant work atmosphere with prospects for professional development and international travel.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience in Financial Markets
  • Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA
  • Comprehensive understanding of risks associated with Financial Markets
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in both French and English is essential
  • Experience working with external regulatory agencies
