Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker to provide essential assistance to clients in their residences. This position is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of individuals requiring personal care.

QualificationsEducation
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Work Environment

  • Work conducted in the client's home
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care
  • Assist clients with aquatic activities (e.g., swimming)
  • Support clients with bathing and personal hygiene
  • Encourage regular physical activity, such as walking
  • Change non-sterile dressings as needed
  • Assist with feeding or provide meal support
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals
Certifications Required
  • CPR Certification
  • First Aid Certification
Safety and Security
  • Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory
Physical and Work Conditions
  • Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
