At Peoples Park Tower, we are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to enhance our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing quality care to our residents.

Educational Background
  • Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a similar non-university certificate or diploma lasting 1 to 2 years.
Experience and Training
  • No prior experience is necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
Work Environment
  • Engage in a supportive retirement home setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications to residents.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques, including performing sterile dressing changes.
Licensing and Certifications
  • Must be eligible for licensure as a practical nurse in the relevant province or territory.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • First Aid certification is also necessary.
Safety and Security
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
  • Child and Adult Abuse Registry checks will be conducted.
Work Conditions
  • Attention to detail is crucial in this role.
  • Expect a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
