Job Title: LPN Addiction & Mental Health

Horizon Health Network is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our multidisciplinary team in providing holistic care to individuals and groups of patients and their families.

Job Purpose:

As a member of our team, you will collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care, working to the full extent of the LPN scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation measures to meet patient needs and enhance outcomes.
  • Aid patients/families in developing their care plan and recovery planning.
  • Act as a resource and advocate for patient and family-centered collaborative care.
  • Act with dignity and respect for all patients, adhering to the values and philosophy of Horizon Health Network and ANBLPN.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent and direct experience in Addiction & Mental Health, or an equivalent combination of recent and direct work experience and certificates of completion for specifically related and recognized education.
  • Actively registered with the LPN Association of New Brunswick (ANBLPN).
  • Current BLS, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, ASIST, and Motivational Interviewing certifications are essential.
  • High level of interpersonal skills; ability to work well within a team and independently.
  • Demonstrated awareness of assessment tools and treatment modalities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and adherence to relevant legislation and processes.
