About the Role

Villa du Repos Inc. is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Residents with Daily Needs
    • Assist residents with breathing, eating, drinking, elimination, mobility, and sleep
    • Help residents with dressing, undressing, and maintaining personal hygiene
  • Administer Medications and Treatments
    • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
    • Provide palliative care and support to residents and their loved ones
  • Monitor and Document Resident Health
    • Assess, monitor, and document resident health status and behavior
    • Report to the Charge Nurse and participate in meetings
  • Perform Administrative Tasks
    • Complete documentation and control forms
    • Participate in training sessions and meetings
Requirements
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Hold a certificate from a recognized practical nursing program
    • Licensed to practice in the Province of New Brunswick
  • Experience and Skills
    • Two years recent experience in geriatric care
    • Organizational, planning, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Personal Qualities
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to facilitate physical and intellectual abilities to meet the requirements of the position
