Poultry Operation Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Poultry Operation Supervisor to join our team at Les Entreprises Robert Charette Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our poultry farm, ensuring the health and safety of our employees and animals, and maintaining high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement farm safety and bio-security procedures
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Maintain quality control and production records
Requirements:
  • 11-15 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, and lifting
Working Conditions:
  • On-the-road job with varying locations
  • Exposure to dust and odours
  • Overtime required
