About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Poultry Operation Supervisor to join our team at Les Entreprises Robert Charette Inc. as a key member of our farm operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Farm Safety and Bio-Security Procedures

Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive farm safety and bio-security procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Provide Agricultural Crop Services

Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting to ensure optimal crop yields and quality.

Supervise Farm Workers and Harvesting Labourers

Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure efficient and effective farm operations.

Maintain Quality Control and Production Records

Ensure accurate and up-to-date quality control and production records are maintained to track farm performance and identify areas for improvement.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic farm environment with varying weather conditions, including dust and odours.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and management to achieve farm goals.

Dependability and Judgement

The successful candidate will be dependable and able to make sound judgements in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Driving Record Check (Abstract)

A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for this position.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, including overtime, repetitive tasks, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Language

The primary language of work is French, and the successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively in French.
