Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Poultry Operation Supervisor to join our team at Les Entreprises Robert Charette Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our poultry farms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement farm safety and bio-security procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide agricultural crop services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting, to maintain high-quality crop yields.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Maintain accurate quality control and production records to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 11-15 years of experience in poultry farm operations or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of farm safety and bio-security procedures, as well as agricultural crop services.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise and coordinate team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a dusty environment with potential exposure to odours.
  • May require overtime and repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to walk, bend, and crouch regularly.
Language

French is the primary language of communication in this role.
