About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Poultry Operation Supervisor to join our team at Les Entreprises Robert Charette Inc. As a key member of our agricultural operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our poultry farms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Farm Safety Procedures

Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Provide Agricultural Crop Services

Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting to maintain the health and productivity of our crops.

Supervise Farm Workers

Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Maintain Quality Control and Production Records

Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed and maintain quality control and production records to monitor and improve farm performance.

Requirements
  • Leadership and Supervisory Experience

11-15 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the agricultural industry.

Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team of farm workers.

Physical Demands

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and crouching.

Working Conditions
  • On-the-Road Job

This is an on-the-road job that requires frequent travel to various locations.

Variable Work Schedule

Variable work schedule that includes overtime and shift work.

Language and Work Environment
  • Language

Fluency in French is required.
