Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Poultry Operation Supervisor to join our team at Les Entreprises Robert Charette Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our poultry farm, ensuring the highest standards of safety and bio-security are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement farm safety and bio-security procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting to maintain optimal crop yields.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain quality control and production records to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • 11-15 years of experience in a supervisory role in the agricultural industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team of employees.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Working Conditions
  • Work will be performed in a variety of locations, including farms and fields.
  • May be required to work overtime, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a dusty environment.
Language

The primary language of work is French.
