Job Title: Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at A Plus Auto Centre. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Tasks: Open and distribute mail and other materials, record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, schedule and confirm appointments, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, answer electronic enquiries, compile data, statistics, and other information.
  • Customer Service: Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, perform data entry, and provide customer service.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
  • Support for Youths: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for mature workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP, Administrative Assistant and Secretarial Science, General.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
