Job Title: VP, OEM's and Strategic Partnership

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Vice President, OEM's and Strategic Partnership. This role will be responsible for leading our OEM and Partner Programs, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales and client service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline of new OEM and Strategic Partner opportunities.
  • Develop and lead strategies, presentations, and RFP submissions to position Sym-Tech as the proven choice.
  • Articulate Sym-Tech's advantages versus key competitors.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, focusing on a 'win-win' philosophy.
  • Identify and champion new internal capabilities that provide strategic differentiation and add value to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams to prioritize growth and efficiency.
  • Ensure strong teamwork between client and Sym-Tech functional areas.
  • Anticipate and resolve program issues in a timely manner.
  • Represent Sym-Tech at a senior level with OEM and strategic partner clients.
  • Secure industry opportunities that enhance Sym-Tech's OEM credibility and capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree, MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of Canadian national automotive account management experience or comparable experience with an Automotive OEM, Financial Services Captive, or Automotive protection program provider.
  • Understanding of Automotive OEM culture, processes, and dealer relationships.
  • High level of credibility and respect amongst Automotive Industry senior executives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in a collaborative environment.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Results-focused with a strong 'close the deal' skillset.
  • Superior analytical skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
  • English fluency, French an asset.
  • Travel requirements ~20%.
