We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team at PATEL SUPERMARKET. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for employee payroll.
- Asset Management: Assess fixed assets and their depreciation.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
- Reporting: Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and file tax returns.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile various accounts to ensure accuracy.
Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
