About the Position

This Program Administrator is responsible for the overall administration and oversight of environmental programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Administration: Oversee the administration and operations of environmental programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with regulators to ensure program compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and policies.
  • Logistics and Operations: Coordinate logistics and operations for program collections sites and events, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including regulators, service partners, and community groups, to promote program awareness and compliance.
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate projects to improve the collection system for various programs, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in administration, regulatory affairs, environmental studies, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in the environmental, regulatory compliance, and/or logistics sector.
  • Clear and concise English language abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability and flexibility to travel and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Understanding of recycling program administration and supply chain best practices.
  • Effective communications skills, with the ability to listen, persuade, and collaboratively give feedback.
  • Analytical thinking with very good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Well-coordinated project management skills.
  • Takes initiative, strong work ethic, and ability to execute and get things done.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with a working knowledge of databases.
