Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing our supplier relationships and ensuring that our contracts are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers to ensure that our needs are met and that our contracts are executed in accordance with our requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate the procurement process, including sourcing, contracting, and contract administration.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize procurement needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on procurement processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on procurement metrics and performance indicators to ensure that our procurement processes are effective and efficient.
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software.
