Service Operations Manager

**Job Summary**
Pattison Agriculture is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Shift Manager to join our team in Preeceville, SK. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and directing the workload of our service employees to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and quality of work.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assign and schedule internal, customer, and warranty jobs for service employees based on their skills and knowledge, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the Service Business Manager to develop and implement new hire orientation programs, provide mentorship to new technicians, and identify opportunities for continuous process improvements.
- Optimize shop efficiency and flow to minimize lost billable hours and ensure effective communication with customers and service employees.
- Direct and assist in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of machine problems with technicians and apprentices, and perform final checks and approvals on equipment before start of work orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintain customer relationships, and respond to inquiries and needs.
- Assist the Service Advisor in providing quotes on repairs for internal and external customers, and maintain accurate records of work orders.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with coworkers, foster strong team dynamics, and encourage safe working habits.
**Requirements**
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs repeatedly and 40-75 lbs on occasion.
- Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license required.
- 5+ years of experience performing complex service repairs and maintenance.
- Ag Equipment Tech (JDTECH) Journeyperson Certification or equivalent.
- Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of ag and turf equipment.
- Ability to use current business systems and working knowledge of computer functions.
