Science Program Developer

Creative Manitoba is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Program Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in designing and delivering engaging science programs for diverse audiences.
As a Science Program Developer, you will be responsible for creating innovative educational experiences that inspire curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of scientific concepts. You will work closely with educators, researchers, and other stakeholders to develop curriculum, plan activities, and deliver presentations that are both informative and entertaining.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging science programs for various age groups and interests.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure program content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with educational standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to refine program concepts and materials.
- Deliver presentations and demonstrations with enthusiasm and clarity, adapting your approach to different audiences.
- Stay informed about current trends in science communication, outreach, and engagement.
- Possess a university degree in a relevant field such as Astronomy, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, or Education, with a strong emphasis on scientific coursework.
- Have at least one year of experience developing and delivering science programs to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Be proficient in research methodologies and possess a passion for lifelong learning.
- Fluency in both official languages is essential; experience working in a museum environment using French and English is highly desirable.
