We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian/Hospitality Manager to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our Maplestone Enhanced Care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement menus that meet therapeutic nutrition guidelines
- Assess and review resident nutritional status, identifying areas for improvement
- Provide education and support to residents and staff on nutrition and related topics
- Manage the dietary services budget, overseeing purchasing and invoicing
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in nutrition and hospitality management. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with our team and provide exceptional care to our residents.
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition
- Membership with a professional association
- Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills
- Experience in a long-term care setting (an asset)
- Current First Aid & CPR and valid Food Handlers' Certificate
- Ability to provide a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
