Lifemark Student Financial Aid Program

Lifemark's Commitment to Education Lifemark is dedicated to supporting aspiring healthcare professionals through our Student Financial Aid Program. This initiative is designed for individuals pursuing post-secondary education in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy. We believe in fostering continuous learning and development by providing financial assistance to students aiming to achieve their utmost potential.

What We Offer:

- A $10,000 bursary with a 2-year post-graduation obligation, disbursed in a single payment to the successful candidate within 30 days of award notification.

- A $15,000 bursary with a 3-year post-graduation obligation, also provided in a single payment within 30 days of award notification.

Please Note: As per Canada Revenue Agency regulations, the bursary amount is subject to taxation. For more information, please refer to the CRA website.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Full-time students maintaining good academic standing.
  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program for Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy at a recognized institution.
  • Applicants must be in their first year or the first half of their second year of the Master's program.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Canada after graduation.
  • Students willing to commit to employment with Lifemark Health Group for 2 or 3 years post-graduation.

Application Requirements:

  • Curriculum Vitae and a cover letter detailing:
  • An introduction and rationale for receiving the bursary.
  • Examples of community involvement through volunteer work.
  • At least one reference letter from an educational or community member.
  • Proof of enrollment in the OT/PT program.
  • A list of preferred employment locations within Lifemark Health Group.

  • Upload your essay along with your resume.
  • Indicate salary expectations of $10,000 or $15,000 annually based on the bursary you are applying for.
