Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Chef Big D's Deli and Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our customers.
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to maintain our culinary standards.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with our restaurant management team to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • Proven track record of menu development, kitchen management, and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
