Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Skys The Limit Holdings Inc. as a key member of our culinary department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

The successful candidate will be responsible for training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.

Inventory Management

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensuring that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.

Quality Control

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Record Keeping

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and providing regular reports to management.

Requirements
  • Education

A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role is required.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Physical Demands

The Food Service Supervisor will be required to stand for extended periods, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Personal Suitability

The successful candidate will be required to have excellent interpersonal skills, a client-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Conditions
  • Work Hours

The successful candidate will be required to work 32 hours per week.

Work Language

The primary language of work is English.
