| Role Overview:

As a Payments Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing support for payment systems. Your responsibilities will include monitoring payment systems, managing network devices, liaising between vendors and financial members, and offering advisory services to clients. Technical Support and Project Management:

● Serve as the primary contact for issues related to Payment Operations Center activities within Payments Canada's essential business systems.

● Deliver specialized services to clients, including monitoring system states, controlling batch production, generating reports, and conducting system verification and fault tolerance activities. You will encounter complex and non-routine problems.

● Assist in payment system support, process design, operational readiness for new services, technical enhancements, and management of requests, changes, incidents, and problems.

Solutions Delivery Management:

● Meet operational targets that influence the overall results of the department.

● Support the Team Lead in project management by providing effort estimates and aiding in the development of project schedules and plans.

Client Relations and Communication:

● Build and maintain relationships with external clients, service providers, and vendors to explore new technical solutions that enhance ongoing maintenance and support of payment systems.

| Minimum Qualifications:

● A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, combined with relevant work experience.
● Willingness to participate in an on-call support rotation and work periodic overtime after six months of employment.
● Availability for rotational shift work.
● Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
● Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Clearance or equivalent checks, which includes residency in Canada for the past five years.

| Preferred Qualifications:

● One to three years of experience in an operations support or service desk environment is advantageous.
● ITIL foundation certification in IT Service Management is a plus.
● Familiarity with payment infrastructure is considered beneficial.

| Compensation:

Salary is based on qualifications and experience, ranging from $65,026 to $81,283.

| What We Offer

  • A flexible hybrid work environment;
  • A competitive compensation package, including an annual variable bonus and a defined contribution pension plan with employer matching;
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits, including mental health support, life insurance, and a health spending account for you and your dependents;
  • Generous paid time off, including a minimum of four weeks of vacation, sick and personal days, and holiday observance days;
