Position Overview: We are dedicated to fostering a supportive work environment that promotes both in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support in the planning, development, implementation, integration, forecasting, and maintenance of the High Value Payment System.
  • Consolidate business requirements and collaborate with technology stakeholders, vendors, partners, and external entities to identify, evaluate, plan, and execute complex implementations.
  • Ensure thorough execution of test requirements in collaboration with vendors for both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Document and define processes and procedures related to business requirements and quality assurance within the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Address member inquiries regarding the Payments Canada testing environments.

Business Analysis Function: Execute the business analysis for the High Value Payment System by:

  • Analyzing the business needs of members and stakeholders.
  • Proposing solutions to identified challenges and recommending opportunities for enhanced services.
  • Providing system expertise to both business and technical teams.
  • Supporting business operations and system solutions in monitoring the High Value Payment System.

Data Analysis: Collect data from various sources and analyze it to produce reliable, fact-based reports that support operational initiatives and ongoing activities. This includes translating data into actionable recommendations.

Quality Assurance Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate Quality Assurance activities, including:

  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis to support projects and related tasks.
  • Acting as a liaison between Payment System Management, financial institutions, and external stakeholders to identify issues and analyze resolutions.
  • Overseeing operations, monitoring, and management of Lynx system business processes.
  • Assisting in the planning and coordination of system or service implementations.

Project Management Support: Provide assistance in project management by:

  • Estimating efforts, identifying risks, and developing project schedules and plans.
  • Creating, maintaining, and executing test cases while ensuring proper execution.
  • Determining the necessity of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes.
  • Overseeing internal UAT and coordinating industry testing as required.

Professional Development: The incumbent will engage in continuous professional development to maintain the skills necessary for this role, including in-house training, cross-training, self-study, and attending external courses or seminars.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution development.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the creation of technical and user documentation.
  • Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of preparing and delivering presentations for diverse audiences.
  • A degree or diploma in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience in DevOps and agile environments.
  • ITIL Certification is an asset.
