About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Logistics Operations team at Paul Transport. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and efficiency
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, including department heads and external partners
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the allocation of resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to support business objectives
    • Authorize and coordinate the establishment of new departments and senior staff positions
    • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Financial and Administrative Management
    • Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
    • Formulate and approve promotional campaigns to drive business growth and revenue
    • Approve overall human resources planning, including recruitment, training, and development
  • Communication and Representation
    • Represent the company in negotiations, meetings, and other official functions
    • Delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company as needed
  • Team Management
    • Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to support business objectives
    • Delegate authority and create optimal working conditions to ensure team success
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a large workload
  • Personal Suitability
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Interpersonal awareness and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in logistics or transportation management
    • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 hours per week
    • Fluency in English
