We are a leading logistics company seeking an experienced Operations Director to oversee our daily operations and drive business growth.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Job Description

The Operations Director will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing financial and administrative controls, and formulating policies and programs. They will also coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, and represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
Supervision and Work Conditions

The Operations Director will supervise 3-4 people and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. They must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal awareness and team player abilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Education: College/CEGEP degree
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Computer and technology knowledge: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Word
