Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving and/or exceeding planned territory/provincial objectives by budget and volume through personal contact at off-trade and on-trade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with national key accounts, regional key accounts, private retail, and on-trade customers to achieve incremental orders and promote Beam Suntory brands.
- Conduct regular territory coverage reviews to ensure optimal sales performance.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to maximize territory results.
- Maximize display and merchandising opportunities to increase brand visibility.
- Stay up-to-date on features and benefits of Beam Suntory brands, as well as competitor brands.
- Develop and maintain overall beverage alcohol knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
- Monitor competitive activity and assess opportunities for Beam Suntory.
- Prepare and submit timely reports to management.
- Manage budgets to maximize effectiveness and achieve sales goals.
- Execute retail samplings and events to engage customers and promote Beam Suntory brands.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business or Commerce preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift 16-18kgs on a regular basis.
- Minimum of 2 years previously related sales experience – CPG preferred.
