Position Overview

As an Agile Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in executing cross-functional initiatives to achieve objectives within specified timelines and budgets. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Scrum team in adopting and utilizing the Agile methodology effectively for significant projects. You will serve as a guardian of Agile values and principles, fostering stakeholder engagement to ensure project delivery aligns with established plans while promoting team self-organization.

Your ability to engage and motivate others will be crucial in navigating challenges that may arise, shielding the team from disruptive external influences. You will take on a leadership position in Agile delivery, collaborating with various stakeholders on projects that demand innovative, strategic, and complex insights. The nature of these projects necessitates a profound and comprehensive understanding of your specialized area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Agile process by guiding the Scrum team in implementing the Agile framework for major projects.
  • Ensure the Scrum team operates efficiently, remains productive, and is well-organized, while adhering to Agile principles and utilizing relevant tools.
  • Maintain transparency regarding work progress and address any issues raised by the team promptly.
  • Ensure alignment between sprint backlog tasks and commitments related to the product backlog.
  • Assist the product owner in maximizing return on investment, achieving objectives, and managing the product backlog effectively.
  • Oversee quality assurance for product backlog items and facilitate key meetings, including sprint planning and review sessions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of four years of pertinent experience.
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in French is required.
  • Advanced intermediate proficiency in English is necessary due to the nature of the responsibilities and interactions with English-speaking stakeholders.
