Job Summary

The Agile Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in planning and communicating through standardized agile development and planning processes, ensuring visibility for all members involved in projects. Reporting to a Project Manager, this role works closely with development and business groups to support project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide scrum, project, and program management oversight to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Deliver strong status reporting and manage expectations to maintain transparency and alignment.
  • Monitor project/program activities and maintain general project organization to ensure efficiency.
  • Raise and manage project/program impediments to minimize delays.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communications and alignment to drive project success.
  • Ensure accurate representation of dependencies in the backlog to inform project decisions.
  • Prepare analysis using benchmark data from internal and external databases to inform project strategies.
  • Support standard project management and Agile methodologies to drive project excellence.
  • Facilitate scrum events to ensure team alignment and progress.
  • Provide visibility, neutrality, and transparency in project operations to build trust.
  • Promote high standards for sprint/project health, organization, and priority of backlog to drive project success.
  • Assist in producing the roadmap for continuous development to drive business growth.
  • Advise and support the Project Manager to ensure project success.
  • Assist in driving change to the organization to foster a culture of innovation.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in an Agile environment.
  • 2 years of experience in Project Management.
  • 2 years of experience with Software Development lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with experience interacting with both business and IT individuals.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and French.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or CST (Certified Scrum Trainer) is an asset.
  • PMI ACP certification is an asset.
  • Experience with Sharepoint is an asset.
  • Experience with Power BI is an asset.
