Role Overview:

The Agile Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in organizing and facilitating agile development processes, ensuring clear communication among all project participants. Reporting to a Project Manager at times, you will collaborate with both development and business teams to assist in the strategic planning and execution of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support scrum, project, and program management oversight.
  • Provide comprehensive status reporting and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Oversee project/program activities to maintain overall organization.
  • Identify and address project/program impediments.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and alignment.
  • Ensure proper representation of dependencies within the project backlog.
  • Conduct analyses using benchmark data from internal and external sources.
  • Advocate for standard project management and Agile methodologies.
  • Facilitate scrum events effectively.
  • Ensure visibility, neutrality, and transparency in project operations.
  • Uphold high standards for sprint/project health and backlog prioritization.
  • Assist in developing a roadmap for ongoing development.
  • Provide advice and support to the Project Manager.
  • Drive organizational change initiatives.

Qualifications for Success:

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Agile environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Project Management.
  • 2 years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Proficient in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging both business and IT stakeholders.
  • Fluency in both English and French.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM) or Scrum Trainer (CST) is advantageous.
  • PMI ACP certification is a plus.
  • Experience with SharePoint is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Power BI is an asset.
