Job Title: Scrum Master - Agile Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team at CB Canada. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating the Scrum framework and ensuring that our development team is working efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and other related activities to support team development
  • Help teams evaluate sprint deliverables and adhere to committed timelines
  • Manage stakeholder expectations regarding scope, timeline, and budget
  • Identify and remove obstacles hindering project progress
  • Communicate key sprint metrics and engaged scope to stakeholders
  • Foster continuous communication within teams and ensure positive team dynamics
  • Develop tools to facilitate team progress reporting and actively participate in Agile practice improvement
  • Act as an Agile expert, providing guidance on methodologies and practices

Requirements:

  • Strong interest and natural instinct for promoting agility, excellence in delivery, project management, and continuous improvement
  • Comfort with Agile theories, Scrum Master role, project/product management, including all domains of knowledge and deliverables
  • Ability to influence teams in implementing and managing a backlog
  • Ability to work with teams in Quebec and internationally
  • Facility to manage multiple teams and stakeholders in a transformational organizational context and changing environment
  • Dynamism, autonomy, rigor, strong emotional intelligence, professional judgment, synthesis, priority management
  • Good tolerance for change, working in ambiguity with virtual teams and multiple files simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (oral and written) with ability to simplify information for diverse audiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, several years of experience in an Agile environment, with a progression towards a Scrum Master role
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, including practice leadership
  • Several significant achievements as a Scrum Master with Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
  • Professional experience in managing an ERP is required (e.g., SAP)
  • Advanced mastery of Jira and Office tools is essential. Knowledge of ServiceNow is an asset
  • Continuing education in process documentation or equivalent experience is an important asset
  • Project management experience is an asset
  • PSM II, CSM, or SAFe certification is essential
  • Knowledge of the energy sector is an asset
  • French is required, English is an asset
